Mate, if you've been reading Rebel Without a Crew over and over, then....er....why do you need help to go out and make a film? The whole point of that book is that you can go and do it all on your own.
Its pretty obvious you're a talker and not a do-er.
To be honest mate, if your first step in making a film is to cry for help on a message board, then it probably isn't for you.
Why not become a horticulturilist instead?

dudeless, here we are again. Chill out man. This is most people's first place of call. It was mine, and now I'm starting to make some progress. That's the point of these. It's somewhere people with film interest can come. They don't have a RW version in every city otherwise I'd have probably gone there.
What I'm trying to say is, you have enough people telling you it can't be done without you helping!

well put, no-one. And, Dude, you obviously need more than 1 person to make a movie - the guy was just putting the call out, trying to rally people (probably himself as much as anyone). So good luck to him.

Yeah no-one I know you're right. I know everybody has their own way of doing things and no one way is better than another for everybody.
No offence meant particularly, but it gets me down sometimes when I see these posts saying 'get off your arse and let's make a film' when that's exactly what I'm doing!!

In response to the 'excellent' support:
I am a 20 year single film maker in a big city, I have lived here for 2 months, I have made a few short films and and continually writing. I love movies, not like people who like the escapism, I love movies. they are my life. Dude, thanks for admiting that you were wrong and that it takes more than just 1 person to make a film. I thought that exposure.co.uk was for Networking, meeting like minded people and colaborating ideas. There are so many individuals out there who want to make movies, and since I know nobody here, I have decided to get those indiviuals together. so let make some movies and stop bitching at everyone. If you want to do that goto film school, and learn to bitch properly. but if you love films... contact me....

hi my name is Arjun and I'm from Bangalore, India. i made my first feature film last year and had my premiere on the 17th of Dec the day i turned 25. my film is called
'20 Plus', its in English and is to be released on the 22nd of June this year.
so why i'm telling you all this is that i've got a script for another film and if you're interested then maybe we could get in touch and do something. i've got a terrific team
